What services does Sparking A Change For Veterans provide?

Sparking A Change For Veterans provides a holistic support system including entrepreneur training, personalized business coaching, and job search training. Our mission is to empower veterans, active-duty service members, and military spouses in Pensacola and Gulf Breeze to find a new purpose after their military service.

Is there a cost for veterans to use these services?

No, there is never a cost for our veterans, active-duty members, or their spouses. Founder Tami started this non-profit with the goal of helping the military community for free, ensuring that every hero has access to the tools they need to succeed in civilian life.

Where is Sparking A Change For Veterans located?

Our physical office is located at 3000 Gulf Breeze Parkway, Gulf Breeze FL 32563. We proudly serve veterans in Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Navarre, and the surrounding areas.

Can military spouses participate in the entrepreneur training?

Yes, military spouses are a primary focus of our mission. We understand that military life often requires starting a career from scratch with every move, so we help spouses build flexible, location-independent income through entrepreneurial skill development.

What is included in the veteran entrepreneur training classes?

Our classes and workshops cover the essential pillars of starting a business, including business plan creation, legal formation, funding strategies, marketing, and bookkeeping. These programs are designed to help you turn your leadership skills into a sustainable business.

How does the one-on-one coaching program work?

We offer personalized one-on-one coaching led by a Certified Entrepreneur/Business Coach. This program focuses on accountability and mentorship, helping you navigate the unique mental and professional hurdles of the transition from military to civilian life.

What kind of job search training do you offer?

Our job search training helps you maximize your military experience by teaching you how to write compelling resumes that civilian employers understand. We also provide intensive interview preparation and strategies for finding positions that match your specific career goals.

Does the organization help active-duty members before they separate?

Yes, we encourage active-duty service members to connect with us before their separation date. Starting your transition training early can significantly reduce the stress and uncertainty of the “what’s next” phase of your journey.

Are your programs available to veterans of all eras?

Yes, we assist veterans from all branches and eras of service. Whether you are a post-9/11 veteran or served in previous conflicts, our resources are available to help you and your spouse thrive in the Pensacola business community.

How can the community support your non-profit?

As a 501(c)(3) organization, we rely on the generosity of our community. You can support us by volunteering as a mentor, donating to fund our free training programs, or partnering with us to hire the talented veterans we train.
