Meet the Catalyst
Sparking A Change For Veterans is founded and operated by Tami Sparks, the daughter of a four-tour Vietnam Marine veteran. She is passionate about assisting veterans and active-duty service members finding a new purpose in their lives after military service.
Tami is a visionary and a certified life coach. It’s always been her mission to provide a holistic approach, combined with partnered wrap-around services, so our veterans and their spouses can find the careers and fulfillment they want and deserve.
Meet Our Team
Alex Green
Alex is a United States Marine Corps veteran and an experienced leader in program management, instructional design, and enterprise operations. He holds a Doctorate in Education from Florida State University and previously served as an Instructional Designer and Instructor with the 39th Information Operations Squadron (39 IOS). Alex also served as a Solution Architect for a multibillion-dollar defense contractor, bringing extensive experience in organizational leadership and complex program environments. His combination of military service, advanced education, instructional expertise, and entrepreneurship training experience provides a strong understanding of the needs of veteran entrepreneurs.
Timothy Kirby
Timothy is a United States Air Force veteran and an experienced leader in instructional design, curriculum development, and instructor management. He holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies and brings more than nine years of experience as an instructor and Instructional Systems Design professional. Timothy has more than 25 years of experience supporting the Air Force and Department of Defense, including service as an Instructional Designer and Instructor with the 39th Information Operations Squadron. His military, instructional, and curriculum-development experience provides a strong foundation for supporting veteran entrepreneurs.

Her deep passion for providing free assistance led to the official creation of this dedicated non-profit organization. She believes every service member deserves a smooth transition into a successful civilian life filled with exciting new professional opportunities.

Personalized entrepreneur coaching is also available to offer direct mentorship and vital accountability throughout the entire startup process. Job search training remains another core pillar of our mission to empower the local veteran population in Florida. We teach essential skills like resume writing and interview preparation to help candidates land their dream career roles. Translating military experience into terms that civilian employers truly value is a specialty of our talented staff.
